Welcome To Project Main St.

Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), sometimes called Lou Gehrig’s disease, is a rapidly progressive, invariably fatal neurological disease that attacks the nerve cells (neurons) responsible for controlling voluntary muscles. No cure has yet been found for ALS. About 10 percent of those individuals with ALS survive for 10 or more years. Our mission is to improve the quality of life for individuals afflicted with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) and their families by lessening the financial burden associated with this devastating disease.

2020 Initiative to Honor the Tim Sheehy Softball Classic & Gala

We are all feeling the loss of our independence due to COVID-19. But, none more so than people living with ALS.

When Project Main St. and Team Gleason joined forces in 2017, we never dreamed we would have the impact we have. Thanks to you, our generous donors, we have raised over $750,000 for individuals and families living with ALS in the last three years, but our work is far from done.

Everything has changed over the last several months, limiting patients’ access to critical resources, resulting in an increased demand for support from our organizations.
Although we can’t be together this year for the Tim Sheehy Gala and Softball Tournament, we need you now more than ever. Today, we’re asking you to step up the “virtual” plate so that we can continue providing the tools and resources ALS patients need to continue living as independently as possible. Help us reach our $100,000 goal by October 11th.

If this year has taught us anything, it’s how much we mean to each other and what we can do when we come together – even when we’re apart. Thank you for being on our team.
